Many parts (geared tuners, friction pegs, strings, strap pins, pick-ups) are available in good music stores. If you want to buy a ukulele bridge, a fretted fingerboard, fretwire, or dot inlays, then you have to approach a special shop for luthier supply.
Be aware that the hardware influences your design. The shaft diameter of the friction pegs, or the gearbox size of a tuner have to be considered in your design. Also the string distance on a bridge is important for your design. Therefore it is strongly recommended to buy this material before you start to work on your instrument. Once you hold all parts in your hands, you can finalize the design details.
