Standard bridge |
This is the standard bridge design like it can be found on old Martin ukuleles. It requires a slot for a bone or plastic saddle. This slot can easily be cut with a router. |

Easy bridge |
You can also use my “Easy bridge” design, if you don’t have a router to cut a slot for a saddle. The side view shows the bridge shape. You just need to drill four holes. The strings go into the bridge from the headstock side, where they are fixed with a knot. The strings go around the bridge over the top. It doesn’t require any additional saddle. |
